cause the manequin is white but the details of the shoulders

& the volant of the front are fixed on a transparent white silk base...

so you can see the body...

It works as a top also...

add to this look some nice flat ballerinas

and you have a girly / Chic look...

as a dress or a tunic....

the back is completly transparent except for the

volant on the shoulders here,

looking like small wings of heaven....

it can be really sexy layered over black tights and a nice

simple black bras,

add to that extremely high heels and you

have sexy / Chic look...

these embroideries in gold made by hand took me 20 hours to make...

I guess details are the heart of my work,

unfortunately I can't always afford the details

of my imagination,

but when I can I try my best to use it in subtle

places and just enough for the eye to enjoy

my aim is not to be overwhelmed by it

but to be tickled and

satisfied by the creative delicacy

that it offers to the

soul.

Calla Haynes...

I discovered Callas beautiful prints at Nina Ricci...

at that time she was working next to Olivier Theyskens...

I was working on the sales books,

I often had left overs in my hands... and the only

two pieces of 10cm X 120cm I have kept in three years

are two printed silks by Calla...

( I couldn't resist them Calla :)

I loved it so much I just couldn't throw the left overs...

One day I'll take my time to make a beautiful scarf of it...

When Calla told me that she was working on her new label

I crossed my fingers and thought

"HOPE SHE WILL USE HER PRINTS"

and I'm glad to find out that she did...

Callas prints are as romantic as a poem could be...

still extremely modern & energetic...

I don't have pictures of my own of her work, but couldn't help

I'm so happy after the pressday

I arrieved in Stockholm yesterday....
from the airport immidiatly to the showroom...
the collection looked FAB on the rack...
today the press were all tums up...
I'm exhausted but happy...
looking forward all the changes
that are waiting for me next year...
will keep you updated...
